Mindfulness training can make you more resilient and compassionate, less reactive in situations of high stress. Soldiers reported that not only did daily mindfulness exercises decrease the chances of PTSD, but it also INCREASED the chances of Post-Traumatic GROWTH. Just like physical exercise, daily mindfulness practice can improve your emotional and mental fitness.

For anyone in theatre, or really anyone in the world, practicing mindfulness can help us to not only “survive” difficult situations, but in fact, improve our mental health during stressful times, and continue to prepare us for future challenges.
