In less than a month I’ll be teaching Theatrical Martial Arts* (TMA) at the Nordic Stage Fight Society’s Summer workshop. The next couple of weeks will be featuring some suggestions for how to prepare for this kind of movement.

 

One of the common difficulties in this discipline is targeting accuracy with kicks. So start working in it now by taking a minute every day to point at things with your toes: spots on the floor, corners of furniture, things off in the distance, anything! Work within your available flexibility, and help your body and mind start developing this essential skill.
